| Cynthia Dea has always had a passion for ballroom dancing. In 2000, she left her banking job to pursue a career as a ballroom and latin dance instructor. Working within the franchise studio system, where private instruction is the norm for dance lessons, she became aware very quickly that quality instruction could be offered in a group lesson setting.
Cynthia felt that dance lessons should be fun and conducted in a warm comfortable atmosphere. In 2002 she struck out on her own. Her dance classes quickly expanded from teaching a small core group of students out of community halls, to teaching ballroom and latin to over 100 students in locations all over Edmonton. Her model of dance lesson instruction proved so popular, that within 9 months, she had opened her own permanent dance studio – Foot Notes! |
